That was the promise made to Hong Kong and its people when the city of 6 million + in population was handed back to China. It has been 22 years since the handover and that promise has been disintegrating as a result of the Communist Party’s growing influence and infiltration within Hong Kong’s borders. This system was promised to be untouched for at least 50 years, with the intention that Hong Kong was supposed to lead China towards integrating itself in the global community. However, the Communist Party fears it will lose its power and influence, they are trying to take advantage of Hong Kong’s independent status for their own economical gain. The “Pearl of the Orient” doesn’t shine as bright anymore, and the future of its people is also dimming.

This website is intended to provide support to Hong Kong by showing the rest of the world what we are fighting for. The only way to fend for its freedom is to spread the truth, showing the world what defending democracy looks like. Showing the world what an autocratic president and a totalitarian regime will look like.
