Iron Fist
Protests in Hong Kong have been a self-organised initiative across the city, with no backing from any entities or organizations. On the flip side, the self-proclaimed patriotic “blue ribbon” supporters have been enlisted by various interest groups affiliated with the Chinese Government. These counter-protesters have been going around intimidating Hong Kong protesters and destroying the Lennon walls in an attempt to “clean up” the streets of the city. Oddly enough their presence is not considered an illegal assembly, rather they are seem escorted by the Police to ensure a “peaceful” demonstration.
Meanwhile in Tuen Mun, a protest that had a permit and was sanctioned was suddenly interrupted by the Police. They claimed it was an illegal assembly and proceeded to strike with their iron fist.
Once again this led to arrests being made, but once again, questionable moves were made by the Police as they decided to target volunteers that only offered their assistances at protests, such as medics.
There were also gatherings of residents in the Tseung Kwan O area, where they were chanting their wishes. The Police once again considered this to be an illegal assembly and decided to test their new ammunition in a residential area.

However, nothing was more outrageous than seeing the Police making an arrest on a 12-year old boy who is now being charged with: possession of a weapon (laser pointer), making graffiti and illegal assembly.
Tear gas, sponge bullets, as well as arresting the old and young, the Hong Kong people are reaching a boiling point
