Police State
Despite arresting prominent activists and lawmakers days before the planned march, and organizer cancelling the event. Many Hong Kongers still came out in support by forms of protest all around Hong Kong. Once again, the Hong Kong Police Force met the protesters with force but this time they reveal their savagery with brutal violence.
In the following video, this is the police’s method of arresting protesters, but you can only see them violently beating citizens. They rationalize it by claiming protesters changed clothes to blend in with the crowd. And they use their “expertise” to distinguish the “rioters” from the bystanders.
The aftermath was gruesome with many injured after the unleash of brutality by the Hong Kong Police. Many “suspects” were not arrested, rather just physically harmed and waiting for medical attention.
The problem was the police immediately placed the subway station on lockdown, declaring the area a “crime scene.” Reporters were forced to leave and medical help was denied at the gate.
Medics were denied entry to help the injured parties as the police claimed there were none. Ultimately, those who were injured were delayed from receiving treatment for at least 3 hours. While some were arrested and brought to detention camp for booking, being denied from medical attention for 10+ hours.
Throughout the city there were encounters of police violence where it appears the city is under martial law. The enforcers of the law no longer abides by it or respect it.
